Social Madness hits 4 digits on LinkedIn!
I’m about to cross the 4 digit milestone on LinkedIn. It took some good time to amass this number and some good man hours. But let me tell you, its definitely worth it. Of all the social madness going on, I think LinkedIn is the most professional and effective of them all.
This task has not been easy because its very easy for people to click “I Don’t Know” button on a sent invite. And if you are able to receive a lot of refusals, LinkedIn stops you from sending in Invites if you don’t have the LI members email address. It was my 3rd time to receive such a message from LI, i’m definitely unlucky in this department. On contacting LI Customer Support, you’ll receive an email advising you to adhere to their terms & conditions and cautions you from making the same mistake again. You are supposed to humbly acknowledge
As more and more people enter the social circus, now i am getting a spill off the same LI users on Plaxo Pulse, Xing, Viadeo etc. But as I said earlier, I think of all of them LinkedIn has the most potential of them all and with the addition of API framework like Facebook, its bound to become more profound.
That reminds me to check on Google OpenSocial! Are they out of alpha now?
