2007 - The year it was!
Happy New Year! And I wish 2008 brings happiness and peace to us. And most of all, ability to talk instead of bomb each other.
The year 2007 for us in Pakistan ended with a national tragedy (as declared by the government) but for me, an end to one leader giving way to many to enjoy the throne. What really happened, as usual will be a mystery.
For me the year 2007 was the year of “Television”. Not only my obsession with TV shows like 24, Prison Break, Hero’s etc. continued. But we were given ample reasons to sit in front of TV for hours to make some logical conclusion that why we as a nation fail to understand each other create “Breaking News” around the globe. No doubt, we have won the title “Most dangerous place on earth”, rightfully!
There have been god developments in the year as well. The tech industry in general created good buzz on the IT world map by winning prestigious awards. The .com revolution started off widely in the local scene, which is a good sign that consumers are finally accepting it as a method of shopping.
For us (Shophive.com, Radicalhire & Radical Solutions) the year 2007 can be labeled as “Growth” and “Presence”. We are hopeful we will be able to continue our growth and better able to server our clients and partners
